… i’m sure you’ll all remember my recent post about Auntie Regina’s 12 Hour Garlic Beef… we’ll here’s just a quick post to show you a little film that was recently made by the team at yahoo.com up here at Belleau Cottage… you can see by the film that this version didn’t quite come out like it did the second time round but it didn’t seem to matter to my friends… oh and please ignore my fat suit… bad choice of clothing i think you’ll agree…

I watched the video earlier – it was really good, especially as I know all the guests! I made the beef as a welcome home meal, for Jonathan and Ming Ming, it went down a storm. Not a single scrap was left.x

Dom: I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Love seeing you “animated” and hear you speaking the “mother tongue”. My husband was born in Warsaw during the war. He, his mother and brother managed to get out and to the country to live with grandparents. His father was in the Polish army and a German POW. They all got out of Poland when my husband was six. He and his brother went to boarding school in England before they all came to the U.S..

Just had a quick peek at your video (undercover at work)will have to have a second viewing when I get home tonightand I couldn't have the sound up too loud! Love your house and your kitchen. This medium of story telling could be your “thing” now you know. Particularly like the way you mashed the garlic for that beef.I am loving this and have thought about doing this myself apart from the fact that I don't like the sound of my own voice.
Here I am with a major case of insomnia, watching Dom in the middle of the night … what a nice surprise! Great little snippet of life in Belleau, dearie! Dinner looked marvelous and I loved the pace of the vid … a little chatter, a little cooking, a little look around home and hearth! And a lovely meal prepared! Well done!
